Welcome to Down the Rabbit Hole Gifts & Decor. This Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, returned, and refunded in accordance with applicable U.S. and Arkansas consumer protection standards.

Processing Time

Orders are processed within 3–7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

  • Custom or made-to-order items may require additional production time, which will be noted on the product page.
  • Orders are not shipped on federal holidays observed in the United States.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery times (after processing):

  • Standard U.S. Shipping: 3–7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days (if selected at checkout)

Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Delivery destination
  • Selected shipping method
Order Tracking

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Risk of Loss (Important Legal Notice)

All purchases are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means:

  • Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
  • We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the shipping carrier.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may be subject to:

  • Additional shipping charges
  • Delayed delivery

✦ Returns & Exchanges

Return Eligibility

We accept returns on eligible, non-custom items within 30 days of delivery if:

  • The item is unused, unworn, and in original condition
  • The item is returned in original packaging
Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom or personalized products
  • Made-to-order items
  • Digital products or downloads
  • Sale, clearance, or discounted items
  • Items marked “Final Sale” on the product page
Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at hello@followtherabbitgifts.com within 30 days of delivery
  2. Include your order number and reason for return
  3. Wait for return authorization before shipping your item

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Return Shipping
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments
  • If requested, we will provide a return shipping label and deduct the cost from your refund

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are issued only after returned items are:

  • Received
  • Inspected
  • Approved
Refund Method & Timing
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for processing after approval
  • Your financial institution may require additional time to post the refund
Non-Refundable Costs

The following are non-refundable unless required by law:

  • Original shipping charges
  • Return shipping costs (unless due to our error)

✦ Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 5 days of delivery.
Please include:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

We will, at our discretion:

  • Replace the item
  • Issue a refund
  • Provide store credit

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.

✦ Custom Orders Policy

Custom items are created specifically for you. By submitting a custom order request and paying the deposit, you agree to the following terms:

  • A $25 deposit is required to submit a custom order request. This deposit will be applied to the final order total.
  • No design work, price quote, or personalized review will begin until the deposit has been received.
  • Custom order requests are accepted on a limited basis. Submission of a request and payment of the deposit does not guarantee that the request will be accepted.
  • If your request cannot be accepted due to availability, materials, timeline, design limitations, or shop capacity, your deposit will be refunded.
  • Once your request has been accepted for review, the deposit becomes non-refundable and may be forfeited if you do not respond within the required timeframe.
  • You will have 3 business days to approve the quote.
  • If there is no response after 5 business days from the date the quote is sent, the request will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited.
  • If a canceled custom item is still wanted, the custom order process must be started again and a new $25 deposit must be paid.
  • For printed items, a digital proof will be provided for approval before production.
  • One revision is included. Additional revisions may be requested for $5 each.
  • Once the proof is approved, the order enters production and cannot be canceled or refunded.
  • By approving your proof, you accept responsibility for all design details, including spelling, dates, names, colors, wording, and layout.
  • Custom order timelines begin only after all required details, payment, and proof approvals have been received.

✦ Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase if production has not begun
  • Custom orders cannot be canceled once design work has started

✦ Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By placing an order, you agree to contact us first to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback.
Filing a chargeback without prior contact may:

  • Delay resolution
  • Result in denial if order terms were fulfilled

We reserve the right to dispute illegitimate chargebacks with supporting documentation.

This policy is designed to comply with applicable consumer protection principles, including:

  • Transparent disclosure of return eligibility
